She then worked at an outpatient therapy clinic for 6 years where she specialized in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Since then, she has received training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and completed her 300 hour sound healing multi instrument certification through the Sound Healing Academy. Jodi has been in private practice for the past 7 years where she works with adults using an eclectic mix of mindfulness, self-compassion, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and sound healing.
She believes it is important for you to connect with your therapist in order to feel emotionally safe. Jodi works to create a welcoming and accepting environment for all beings. She likes to think of herself as laid back and comfortable, kind, genuine, with a good sense of humor. Jodi works well with those who are emotionally and energetically sensitive and those who are in helping professions. She specializes in working with individuals who are looking to heal past wounds or would like to use sound vibrations for emotional, mental, and physical healing.
In her free time, you can find Jodi outside soaking in the sound healing benefits of nature. She enjoys hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and connecting with her friends and family.
